Tony Thornton, aka the Punching Postman from Glassboro, NJ, scored a bloody fourth-round K0 over fellow-middleweight contender Dave Tiberi, of New Castle, DE, in their scheduled 10-round main event at Harrahs Casino, Atlantic City, NJ. The date was May 21, 1990. This is a 22x28 hard cardboard poster from that fight, which was televised by SportsChannel America. Less than two years later, Tiberi gave middleweight champion James Toney all he could handle before losing a controversial 12-round decision in Atlantic City on ABC-TV.
