Harold Johnson vs. Jacobs II Poster 1971 |

This 22x28 poster is from Hall-of-Famer Harold Johnson's last fight in a storied career which began in 1946. This one, from March 30, 1971, at Sunnyside Garden in Queens, NY, ended in the third round when a head butt suffered by Johnson caused a bad cut over his right eye. This was in the days before the head-butt rule and Jacobs was awarded a TKO victory, leaving Johnson's career record at 76-11, 32 K0s. Johnson had outpointed Jacobs four years earlier in New Orleans.
